Yesterday in my research lab I spilt protein I was dealing with, it homogenate protein samples from wood frogs, would it be a harm to be if it got on my skin?
Most likely not. I would be more concerned about the solvent used than the actual protein. We have tons of proteins in our bodies. They are simply polypeptide chains and amino acids- aka nothing to worry about. The solvent used may have been acidic, so just check to see what was being done to the protein and what chemicals were being used.
I would still take safety precautions like washing your hands and where it spilled. It should be a fairly simple cleanup.
