Remaining British if Scotland becomes independent?
There is a vote to be in 2014 where people will make the decision on whether Scotland will claim Sovereignty. I was born in Scotland but moved.Since I lived outside of Scotland will I have the vote? I consider my myself British, but not Scottish, even though I have family there. So if independence is achieved will I retain my British citizenship? Will it be revoked and I will receive a Scottish citizenship? Will I be able to hold dual citizenship? Or will I not get the decision at all, being a minor? I seriously hope that the vote doesn't pass. The United Kingdom is such a beautiful which is surprisingly diverse, but that's not a reason to be divided. Silly nationalists. Anyways it is in 2014, a lot could happen.

I have no idea why you wouldn't want your nationality rightfully restored to scottish, even if you don't, do you think its fair that choice isn't available to the people in scotland just the way it is to the people in Northern ireland?
people may nonetheless call themselves British, because they're on the British Isles - the Spain/Portugal evaluation is largely irrelevant, because there is not any historic use of the note Iberian, unlike interior the united kingdom. it is complicated to understand what the call may be - they could purely call it the united kingdom, and drop the 'of serious Britain and eire' bit. that would properly be the most elementary answer. in spite of everything, Sudan did not change its call at the same time as South Sudan grew to develop into autonomous (the newest celebration of a us of a fragmenting).
You wont have a vote as the referendum is for Scots living in Scotland and seeing how you described nationalists as being "silly" im glad you wont have a vote !!!
These questions will all be sorted if it ever happens. That's why such things take so long.
Who cares, It's just the name of a piece of land, it has nothing to do with your character. The only thing it determines is what government organization of politicians is ripping you off.
