I would like to ask about restraining orders. I filed a restraining order on my ex but if I'm still getting texts from random numbers threatening me still on her behalf, would that be considered a violation?

Most orders stipulate that they can't contact you through a third party. I would report it, even if you can't absolutely prove it. The police and judges aren't stupid. If they think there's a chance she's doing it, they'll bring her to court to answer for it.
You'll have to prove that they're coming from her.
Go to the police and show them the texts. They can look up the phone numbers and may make a call or two on your behalf.
At a minimum, the friends whose phones she's using to make these threats will stop helping her.
