Samsung camera stuck on black screen when I open it?
I havent had this camera for that long now, and Everytime I turn it on, its just a black screen on the lcd...It does take pictures tho but I cant see what I'm taking or how it turned...help!
Sounds like trouble to me. Your only choice is to physically pack up the camera and ship it to Samsung. Be sure to include a letter with the camera describing the problem as you have done here. Also list the model number, serial number, and if it is under warranty, Include a copy of sales receipt.
Also the details of your address and daytime phone number and these days an email address is also a good idea. Ask for an estimate if the repair is not covered under warranty.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TAKE IT BACK TO WHERE YOU PURCHASED.
1. Camera is sent in "when they get around to it"
2. Any cost involved like shipping or repair is doubled as part of business.

Could be that you have turned off the screen.
This is available to help increase battery life.
On the camera is there a button labelled "dsp" or similar? Otherwise can you get into the menus?
Check out your user manual.
