Hi everyone. I am a rising sophomore in high school, and I'm having a little problem. I am a basketball player, and love basketball. A local private high school has a top 10 program... and Im thinking about contacting the coach only because of my other situation. At my high school now, i dont have many friends. There are a few kids who i absolutely HATE! and they are the "popular kids" and now I think that everyone at school doesn't like me. I am very driven, and I try very hard, and I think the kids dont like me because of this. I am often called a nerd, and people think im an awful athlete... even tho I think i am a very good one. I run a 4.9, 30" vertical, etc. Do you think i should transfer to that private school? I hate my school, only because of the kids. I just dont like coming to school only cuz of the kids. I literally shake every time i walk by their group. And the sad thing is that a couple of years ago... i was one of those"popular kids". I just began focusing on school, while they all got into drugs. PLEASE HELP! should i transfer??
