im not shure because a friend of mine did them and she is a professional piercer at this tattoo parlor

mine didn't really hurt at all

but it was swollen and a little soar the next day but was gone in about a week

the only thing that did hurt was when i whipped out on my snow board and smacked my lip on some ice

Some places will do both for $60 total instead of $40 for each one since you're getting 2 at a time. you can't feel it when they put the needle through. If you do feel it, it's a slight pinch. Your lip will be a little sore for a few days but you're supposed to take ibuprofen every 4 hours for until the swelling and pain go away on their own. Always always always go to a piercer to have it done...they've been trained in how to pierce it to avoid hitting veins or nerves in the lip so it won't cause permanent damage.

It hurt a little going through, but not that much,

and after like 5 minutes, the pain was gone.
