Sudden mood swings and depression a few months after being on Apri/Desogen/Reclipsen?

I switched to Apri or Desogen or Reclipsen, whatever you want to call it, in January 2013 from Lybrel. Ever since my last period, which was 2 and a half weeks ago, I've been very depressed, moody, tired, kind of irritable, lack all concentration, etc. My stimulant medication for ADHD really does not work anymore ever since my last period. It doesn't curb the lack of concentration, memory problems, or foggy thinking. Before, I suppose I tolerated Apri well emotionally, but it's brought back my endometriosis, so I have to go off of it, anyway. I'm getting surgery in a couple days, then going back on Lybrel so I don't get my period. I'm just wondering if anyone else experienced sudden drastic depression after being on Apri for a while. I'm also wondering if it could be a sign of progesterone defiency because Apri has more estrogen than progesterone than Lybrel. Low progesterone is linked to all of those things, I've read, and endometriosis. Even though I'm going back on Lybrel, I'm just looking for piece of mind that my hormone levels could go back to normal, and I won't feel so insanely depressed. I tolerated Lybrel well emotionally, too, after being on it for almost 4 years, but I was starting to spot heavily for weeks at a time, so my doctor decided to try Apri. Thank you.
