Tattoos and diabetes?
alright so right now im diabetic type 1 , with an a1c at 14 terrible i know . im obsessed with tattoos but its obvious i cannot get one now . but lets suppose i get my act together and lower my a1c to about 5 ina matter of a year . is it perfectly safe to get tattoos and im not talking about one or two im talking about a sleeve . need facts not just opinions . please im tired of fake answers ..

If your blood sugar is under control, your risk of infection is low. You can lower your A1c to 5% in less than a year, but it's good to go slowly so that you don't have a lot of hypoglycemic episodes. Good luck getting your A1c down!
