Sorry. You won't get any validation from me. First because I understand how the US government works. (Did you flunk civics?) Second because we have been existing on national welfare for the last 8 years. We have asked for "loans" from China, Japan, and a whole host of other countries. Since it is unlikely that we will ever pay it back or that we will pay it back simply by printing more money that we don't have, that makes us no different from the individuals getting welfare or the corporations getting welfare.
Amazing thing. One of the answers says it won't make a difference that Obama is black any more than it would if he was white. So far, he's got four thumbs down. No, no racism here!
oh ok you rather have 8 more years of welfare to the richest amercians like oil companies and drug companies
and if you remember the democrats fixed welfare in the united states in just 2 years and now welfare is still 90 percent of what it was under the republicans
Actually under Bush with the consolidation of wealth and marginalization of the middle class we have moved much closer to being a 3rd word country-
I've traveled the world and there is no welfare system in most 3rd world countries, but there are huge disparities between the wealthy and the poor....
We've already gone from being the largest creditor nation to being the largest debtor nation. We import more products than we export. We're drifting toward a colonial relationship with China, where they buy our cheap natural resources and sell us expensive manufactured goods (the relationship that puts China in the position that empires desire with their colonies). We're going broke trying to support a military force that's already larger than the next 22 nations combined, and we've resorted to unilateral aggression and torture. Under George Bush we've moved closer and closer to joining the Soviet Union on the scrap heap of history.
I suspect the Obama administration is the beginning of reversing these trends and restoring the US's peace, prosperity, and moral standing in the world.
As a skilled rhetorical magician, Obama presents himself as a tax-cutter. Even though he’s voted dozens of times to raise taxes, he assures Americans that 95% of us will have our taxes slashed under his plan. The Wall Street Journal isn’t buying it. Once again, though, the best way to assess someone’s positions is to listen to his own language.
Obama has no answer, other than to blow off all the evidence, and say that raising taxes is the fair thing to do—practical consequences be damned.
Someone so obsessed with the concept of “fairness” is unlikely to be a friend to taxpayers. Obama’s record over his brief legislative career confirms his tax-and-spend impulses.
Obama is going to fix what Bush ruined. The country was fine when Clinton was in the W.H. Bush took over and now look at what happened. If he U.S. gets buried its because Bush dug the whole.
Who knows.. Obama doesn't have complete control over what policies are put into effect. It's easy to get wrapped up in extreme "what if" scenarios. Yeah, there are a lot of things about him that make me concerned about what type of president he'd be. If he gets in, though, I'll assume the best until I see otherwise.

The country seems to be heading that way with or without Obama's rule.

Third world welfare country?
Someone is an optimist!
At least in a banana republic you get left alone most of the time unless someone wants to take what little you have.
Obambi is looking to mold our country to fit his own image like those sick ****s in North Korea.
