Underweight?!? Male, 17 y/o, 5'8" 108lbs?
First off let me tell you about my last trip to the doctor.
It was in April of this year. At that time, I was still 16 years old and 5'7" and weighed about 120lbs or maybe a little more. My doctor said this was a healthy weight but said I shouldnt be trying to lose weight.
Fast forward to today. I now am 17 years old, 5'8" and weigh 108 lbs. I am wondering if I need to gain back that 12lbs?
I am considering using my gym membership not to just do cardio but to do some serious weight lifting. I am planning on alternating cardio then lifting days.
Before I start this exercise program I was wondering what you all think. Do I need to gain weight? if so, how much? How many calories should I eat a day (P.S: I am INCREDIBLY active. I exercise 2-3hours a day. No joke)
Any tips and advice is greatly appreciated!
If you need me to clarify anything, just ask.
Thanks!

Yeah your pretty skinny, I am 5 foot 7 and weigh 125 pounds. All I can say is EAT, not only eat but eat good food. For ex: Pork, steak, chicken, vegetables, fruit, also get your calcium! Don't do aerobic excercise a since your trying to gain muscle, do workouts like, push ups, crunches, bench press, squats, arm curls, pull ups, anything to do with weights! Also if you can start taking amino acid, whey protien and creatine monohydrate. That's only if your looking to gain muscle fast! There enexpensive and you can buy it online, Walmart, gnc anywhere!
eat a shitload of snowballs and keep exercising, thats what i do, im 14, 5'6" and 120
