Albert Einstein is the poster boy for genius. He was bright and unconventional, but he was wrong about many things. Yes, in some ways he was a dope. However I like the quote about the mysterious. In this he was smart.

I agree with his quote. There is something beautiful about the unknown, but I don't think Einstein was suggesting that the natural awe we feel before the mysteries of our magnificent universe should stop us from seeking explanations for those mysteries, answers for our questions. The mysterious calls to us; that call is a challenge.

My favorite Einstein story goes like this:

He was a professor at grad school, and gave his students a long, difficult final on the second semester of a two-semester class. Halfway through the test, one of the students walked up to the front of the room and said, "Professor Einstein, this test is the same one you gave at the end of the first course!"

Einstein grinned maniacally. "Yes," he answered, "but the answers are all different!"

It takes true brilliance to devise a set of questions like that!

Einstein also stated that he believed that Buddhism would be the religion of the future.

everyone has a different idea about religion if you don't want people to critise your ideas than you shouldn't critise other peoples ideas espicially a genius like albert einstein who created theories about science that changed how people saw the world.

Einstein was an eccentric lunatic with a mind so brilliant, we cant even comprehend it all. He is my number one role model, odd and fabulous.

I agree completely, and to think he accredits all the things in the universe to God. hmmm
