I had a baby girl 3 1/2 months ago. The pregnancy was awful. I lost 15 lbs the first trimester because of how sick I was. I gained 45 after that because I had pre-eclampsia. I lost ALL of the weight within the first 2 weeks after having her. I have now gained 15. I eat less and move more. It doesn't make sense. Anyone else have this problem? I feel swollen, almost like I did when I had pre-eclampsia. The weight is in my arms, face, and legs. My belly hasn't changed.
I have thought it could be something wrong with my kidney from the pre-eclampsia or something and I could be holding water. My protein count was 3500 before they rushed me to the hospital to have my baby 2 weeks early. I have asked the doc about my kidney and she says it should be fine now. I do not have any issues urinating but I do get a pain under my ribs on my right side a few times a day but it is usually when I am sitting or feeding the baby.

That's odd that you lost all the weight, and now are gaining it back. if nothing has changed. your eating habits and exercise levels are the same, putting on weight for no reason is odd. talk to your doctor about it. they may want to run some tests. Request to have them check your Thyroid levels. After pregnancy its common for woman to develop post partum thyroidism. which can cause the weight gain. after my 2nd pregnancy, i developed problems with my thyroid, caused from the pregnancy. and for a long time had such a hard time losing weight. i recommend getting your levels checked just to be sure its not something with your thyroid.
This is an exciting query! I began heavy with my first at 185 lbs and received forty lbs. My child used to be eight lbs. 10 oz.. I misplaced all of the forty lbs. plus yet another 20 lbs. after approximately two months way to breastfeeding(and giving up chocolate considering that it made my son gassy)! With my moment I began at 168 and received approximately 37 lbs. and had a eight lbs. thirteen oz.. lady. I do not consider that gaining extra weight implies that your child will likely be higher, than person who does not reap as a lot. But I do consider that it might do along with your nutrition. Some persons can consume plenty of junk meals and reap much less weight, than any one who eats more fit. But I might bet that the individual who ate a more fit meal might have a smaller child. You might most likely ought to don't forget WHEN persons have their toddlers. Someone who has a child at 38 weeks, will have to technically have a smaller child than any one who has a child at forty weeks. Plus I ponder whether genetics might have some thing to do with it? Most of my mothers eleven youngsters and my MIL four youngsters had been over eight lbs. Just notion I'd attempt to supply you extra matters to do not forget for start weight!
