She cannot be left outside under any circumstances. I would crate train her, and be sure to get home right after school so she can get out to potty.
If you don't like crate training you need to confine her to a kitchen or laundry room where she cannot get anything bad to chew on and make her sick.
If you cannot keep her inside you have to rehome her. She is not the kind of dog that can stay outside all the time. Call a local non kill shelter or rescue organization and ask for their help. I know you will do what is best for your puppy, hopefully she can stay with you and live inside the house.
First, you should have thought about this before taking home a dog, especially an indoor, prissy dog like a cock-a-poo. Secondly, do not ever think of leaving this dog outside, only "working" dogs should be left outside and that's under certain circumstances.
Get a crate. It should not be bigger than her being able to stand and turn around, anything larger than that gives her the opportunity to go to the bathroom. Dogs do not like to lay in their own urine/feces so if you get the proper size, you should see that she will rarely go to the bathroom in it. Do not section off a room, this will allow her to go to the bathroom at her leisure and not have to lay in it. But befor that, you should be working on housebreaking now. I jsut brought home a puppy a week ago and we have him 85% housebroken. He even indicates when he has to go out (while he is 10wks old, he still has accidents). She may not like the crate at first but introduce it to her slowly as well as make it inviting. Put a treat on the top of the cage when you leave so she gets distracted & has to work for it. She won't notice you leaving and won't fuss much (if at all) while you are gone.
If you can't do these things, then you do not have the time to have a dog and should find a home with someone who does. Having a dog (or any pet) isn't a matter of just putting down a water bowl & food, until you have a well behaved dog (which most people do not) it takes a lot of work, time, and patience.
Do you know anyone that would come round and check on you dog at lunch times? That is probably the best thing to do, when my dog was a puppy my mum would let him out at lunchtimes when i was at work, i would let him out first thing in the morning and walk him when i got home from work. My husband fenced off a bit of the garden and built a kennel in the garden for him so that he can be out there when we are at work, my husband takes him to work with him now. Good luck though, i hope this helps
i suppose a crate might be an option, i would say section off a room (with easy to clean floors/bathroom might work ) use baby gates or something and have a bed(maybe in a crate) at one end and wee wee pads at the other and toys. put everything she can destroy up out of reach because she will be board and may get destructive.... take her out to potty right before you leave and as soon as you get back, and if you have time to sneak away at lunch,
I'd invest in a dog lot to keep her in while your at school. Most, [mine did atleast] come with a tarp to cover the top of the lot so if it does ran, your dog will be safe.
If you don't want to buy a dog lot, then I'd start crate training her. I don't have much experince with cockapoos, {i'm not one for designer breeds} I'm not sure how it will react, but with good, patient training any dog can be crate trained.
Try to by a covered dog pen that she can not get out of. We keep our dogs in a tarp covered pen outside while I am at school, and it works great! Make sure she has shelter, food, and water.
Call your vet or a groomer or look in the phone book for a doggie day care.
i think doggy daycare may help if you can afford it or try having some one come in a sit with the dog for those hours
inside layer the floor with newspaper and make like a play pen
Didn't you think of this *before* you got the dog?
