Disney started in the 1930's when women stayed at home and took care of the house and kids. Today, they've tried to modernize themselves with Hanna Montana and the Princess Diaries, so they've come a long way from Walt's days. Now they're saying women can become whatever they want to be, although it is still nice if they include a man in their lives.
That there's going to be some man (Usually a prince) that will save us whenever times are hard (In distress) and that everything will be ok and we'll all live happily ever after.
