I CAN ALREADY SEE MY SIX PACK OK. I am skinny, but I want them more noticeable. I tried Crunches and I get a bigger burning sensation in my abs and they are bigger, so are they more effective then sit ups?

crunches are a better ab workout than sit ups. Sit-ups use the hip flexor muscles to complete the exercise more than the abs and even more so if the feet are anchored.
Sit ups as i imagine them are more a hip flexor exercise. Crunches will target the actual abs, as you feel it with the burn. For exercising the mid region of the abs, yeah. But remember there's a lot of other muscles in your body ! A super huge six pack with skinny arms and legs doesn't do you much good, and is kind of funny !
Sit ups have been proven to hurt your neck, same with crunches. Do plank pose it tightens the abs without any side effects to the neck. Do a reverse crunch feet up in the air, lift the butt up and feet toward you. These 2 exercises work in harmony and no chance of hurting your neck. Hope this helps
to the 1st poster - crunches dont injure ur neck if u use PROPER FORM, situps are crap tbh IMO
do Decline crunches - REMEMBER to go very slowly... more volume doesnt always mean better results...
if u want deep valleys in ur abs do WEIGHTED crunches 10-12 repetitions no more
if u do weighted exercises for abs DONT train them more than twice a week - treat em like any other muscle
i,m 62 and do both . i was told young sit ups work above the belt ,crunches below the belt . i think trainers would agree as a rule of thumb as they say .
none.

Do a little of both, but I think crunches are better.
