a really good strong punch involves the whole body using a firm foothold using your back and releasing the arm and the fist unto a target in one deft move like a spring that releases a load. the punch needs a snap on it to be powerful. otherwise, it's just a slap or a push. if its a punch on an angle then swinging with the hips gives it more snap. that's about the mechanics of a punch. but a strong punch is not necessarily an effective punch. to have its full effect, it's better if the opponent do not anticipate it. if you catch the opponent off guard, then he is not prepared to receive your punch and that would give the sting. so it doesn't matter if it's a straight or at an angle, it depends on how you throw it (maybe you are skilled in throwing one of them better than throwing the other) and more importantly, it depends on whether your opponent anticipates your punch. sometime, throwing at an angle is effective because it is not foreseen by the opponent (again, not because it is stronger).

The hardest shot I ever took was a right hook after the ducked under my left straight. I had tunnel vision for about 1 or 2 seconds.
Depends on the fighter. You need to be more specific before anybody can answer this.
The one that connects is stronger, doesn't matter how much force there is if its blocked or dodged.
