i started driving about a year ago when i was 15. don't be scared it only makes driving harder. the truth is driving is not that bad, just watch out for people who don't know what hell there doing. just remember to start out driving slow, don't try to gun it. you'll do fine, good luck.
My Dad started teaching me when I was 16 but he had like no patience at all. I think he trusts me now. Lol, good luck to you my friend, it's fun dude. It's freedom and the first taste of independence! It's scary until you see that you have the ability to control the car. It's much easier when you don't have the eyes of a parent watching and commenting on every little thing too!

Don't worry. You have been watching (and learning whether you realize it or not) people drive your whole life. You will be fine and get through it...just like the rest of us did.
yeah, i'm almost 18, i don't drive yet, and it kinda freaks me out. but i'm sure you'll be fine, it's not nearly as bad as it sounds. i actually really like to drive, it's just that i don't wanna drive on roads with other cars. don't worry though, you'll be fine.

I was very old by Florida standards. I was about 17, and most kids get their permits by 15.
I bougt a car and learned to drive on the way home.
