when i straighten my hair it gets poofy and weird?
hey so my straightener used to straighten my hair perfectly straight after showers,like pin straight and now it has this weird smell when i put it on and when i straighten my hair it isnt pin straight anymore it just goes kinda poofy and its so annoying. What should i do? this is so annoying since it used to go pin straight oh btw i have really curly with a shitload of layers so ya.
Update:yea i guess i have a shitty straightener..it was 40 bucks from winners. its the ionika pro

You probably have a low quality hair straightner - and the smell will be the oil from your hair, left on your straightner burning. Maybe invest in a new, high quality one , like a Ghd ? They're expensive, but well worth the $ and last for ages. I've had mine for 8 years, and never had a problem with it - and my hair is always dead straight.

well it mite be your straightner or your hair you could buy anti frizz cream its enexpensive or buy a new straightner i would just try and look for hair antifrizz products hoped that helped!!!
