wine drinkers: how much wine do you drink?
What is your age and gender? When and how much do you usually drink? For what purpose do you drink?
I'm a 23 year old female who drinks red wine usually on the weekends, or three nights a week, and I have 1-2 bottles--or 8-16 standard drinks in one night--to get drunk/have a restful sleep.

Down to about 20 ounces each day and going for about half of that.
Not often but when I do a regular 750ml bottle lasts two meals.
I'm pretty damn old, female. My husband and I have a pretty great wine collection. We generally have between 1/2 to one bottle of wine between the two of us each night with dinner. Weekends, it's definitely a full bottle between the two of us. We'll drink more wine at a wine dinner (Uber time!) or when we have friends over for dinner.
2 bottles of wine in a night strikes me as a lot of wine.
I normally don't drink wine, but I do cook with it.

I usually only have a glass or two if at one of my families or friends for dinner and they offer wine,usually only during the holidays though.
I have a cousin and she is the same age as me and every family event she usually polishes off the wine so the rest of us usually hardly get any,one glass if we are lucky.She drinks it like water.
I'm a 50 year old woman. I have maybe one glass of wine per month during the summer because I socialize with friends who like having us over for dinner and serve wine. During the winter, I generally have two glasses of champagne to celebrate the new year. I've never been drunk and don't get the appeal.

I'm male and 62. I try to have at least one night a week when I drink no alcohol at all. On Fridays and Saturdays I normally share a bottle of wine with my partner and on other nights have a glass of wine with my dinner - sometimes I might have a second glass.
I drink because I like the taste, it's relaxing and it complements the meal.
I'm 31, and a female, if my name didn't give it away. I have about a bottle and a half every week. Sometimes up to two if work was hell. I'm too old to get away with a bottle or two every night, otherwise I'd have a two-day long hangover saga going on. Max is two glasses before I hit that mark. Life is hard, but even harder the older you get.
