When i straighten my hair it isn't straight!?
I spend about half an hour daily straightening my hair, but at the bottom it still turns around, not curly but it kinda flips toward my chin. Is there any hair cut/style gel, etc that will help fix this problem?

You can try using Nexxus Sleektress shampoo and conditioner before you do that. I tried it and it works so well. It makes your hair naturally straight. You can also use John Freida Frizz Ease as a bonus to control frizz and to make your hair soft and shine. Apply it to damp hair after you take a shower.
You could also buy a concentrator for your blow dryer. This will help with the curving up.

It's prolly your straightner. Buying a more expensive straightner is worth it. The ones that are a hundred bucks or more really get the job done. I reccommend chi, it's a hairstyling brand. And straightening your hair everyday isn't a good idea. It's going to make your hair unhealthy. When you straighten the bottom part of your hair make sure your going in a straight line. Not turning the straightner into your face which ends up in curling.
straighten in smaller sections, it might take longer but it will definately get straighter. Also, after you straighten a section, comb it down straight until its cooled off. If the hair is still warm while you keep going, it can bend around a bit.
this happens because you turn your hand when you straighten your hair. try to do this..
take a 1inch section of hair
hold it so it is at a 90 degree angle from you head
clamp the straightener at the base of the hair and slide is out toward the end of your hair

When you straighten your hair, try running a comb through it with the straightener. This helps get it straighter and smoother.
I had the same exact problem, use alittle put of anti frizz gel in your hair before you straighten it, and after you straighten it, put alittle more in, and put alittle bit of hairspray in it, good luuck!

maybe u need to buy a new straightner. my old straightner took forever and it was really bad too. i got a CHI hair straightner and it makes my hair look very flat , shiny and frizz-free
goldwell kerasilk conditioner, even thought it says rinse you can use it as a leave in to straighten your hair. its a little pricey but is an amazing product!
You could try straightening it in layers that's what i do and it works for me

NO!!! have your straigghtner on the higest meaning hottest 400 you prolly have it on the first!!! and it helps if you wash your hair first!
