You cannot leave your Nuvaring out because it is activated at warmer temperatures hence why it works at your body's temperature and the reason for why you must refrigerate it at all times! Don't worry though, you'll be okay. I did this before because we had to unplug our fridge at college during a break and when I came back I put in a Nuvaring from that fridge, yeah dumb me didn't realize that it was unplugged at the time... who knows what I was thinking. But anyway the same thing happened to me with white discharge and actually a little period blood. I just put a new one in and I didn't wait until after my next period
