The beliefs of any religious group are extremely complex and, almost always, constantly under debate by adherents of that religion. As such, it would be hard for a teacher, who isn't a member of all religions, to give a fair description of all of them.
However, it would be hard to study the history of, say, the Crusades, or the Abolition movement, without discussing the religious motivations for them.
As pointed out above, Catholicism is a portion of Christianity.
Wicca has not yet had a chance to directly impact history. We'll see.
If they teach either of those then they have to teach all of them, unless you're talking about collage, the Jr. collage close to my house teaches a course in Wicca.
The Catholics can handle the education of their people themselves, after all they've been doing it for 1,600 years.
There were many branches of Christianity before the Catholics, like the Gnostics and the original Jewish sect of Christianity that bears no resemblance to Catholicism, I get sick of hearing them claim to be the first church just because a Roman emperor started it.

Catholicism is the oldest and largest denomination of Christianity. They aren't teaching you very well if they didn't tell you that.
