I have an lawn mower (2nd hand) about 3-4 years old. I had it for about a year and only used it maybe 10 times. I usually have someone cut my lawn.
It is full of gas and oiled up. (I haven't used in like 2 or 3 weeks. It won't start. At first I pulled on the cord and it would pull out as far as before. Now I can pull it, but nothing.
Please help.

It may be the spark plug. they can wear ot over time and go bad. You can go to Lowes or Home Depot to get a new one. Make sure you get the same model or it wont fit. If this doesnt work an internal part my be shot.
the problem might be dirt in the float bowl ,look under the carbeurator if you see a round metal object with a 1/2" bolt in the middle of it take a wrench and remove it the bowl might be stuck if so tap on it with the wrench to loosen it then pull it straight down until it clears the float you should now have gas draining from the float put a container there to catch the gas now look into the bowl do you see dirt and/or water clean it out if so now the bolt you took out has one or two holes in it they are very small i use a wire from a wire brush to poke into these holes to clear them or compressed air either way make sure the holes are clear then reassemble the float bowl being careful not to disturbe the float position and making sure the gasket is in place do not over tighten the bolt. i hope this helps this is what i find is wrong with most mowers .good luck.
