Last week, I started a diet. My target was 2-3 pounds every week, and averaging at 5 pounds every two weeks. I decided that a weigh in every week would be a good idea so I can adjust accordingly if I'm losing to little weight. I started my diet and exercise routine last Thursday. When I weighed myself, I was shocked to see that I had gone from 283 to 277. I mean, I'm really happy, but something seems weird about it.

Absolutely normal. When you're heavier, you lose a lot more weight in the first few weeks/months. So 6 pounds to you is about 1-2 pounds to someone who is at a healthy weight.
The more overweight you are the quicker you will lose but in times you can be lead into a plateau where the weight stay the same. Just like building muscle is easier to build muscle the first 3 weeks then after that it get harder because your body get use to it.
So 6 pounds to you is about 1-2 pounds to someone who is at a healthy weight. I use phen375 diet pills.
There's nothing odd about it at all :) The heavier you are (especially the more fat on your body) then the more weight you'll be able to lose in your first few weeks. You're simply starting a big change, with a new diet and an exercise plan, you can really lose weight fast! However, eventually as you get towards your target weight, the harder it'll be for you to lose weight. That's cus there's a smaller and smaller amount of fat on your body, and it gets harder and harder to lose. Since you're not really a "big" size, you'll be reaching that plateau moment quicker than someone who's heavier, or weighs more in terms of having fat on the body vs body weight coming from both muscle and fat combined.
Ok, have you ever seen The Biggest Loser? Those people exercise and eat well for like 3 days before the first weigh in and some have lost about 10-15lbs (20 in some cases). Then, as they gain more muscle and lose fat, it becomes harder and harder for them to lose weight towards the end of the season when they're all in the 150-250 range, it's harder for those individuals to lose weight.
Water weight. Actually, the first week is usually a lot more than that.
Nothing is odd. The more you are over weight, the quicker you will lose. Also it is normal to lose more than usual your first few weeks.
