Not at all. My first pregnancy ended by termination, surgically. My second resulted in a beautiful baby girl*(this is quite a few years apart, for those of you who will most definately judge me ;)) and my third pregnancy, unfortunately ended in miscarriage. Although it is possible for an abortion procedure(which you did not have, your pills caused an intentional "miscarriage") to cause such trauma that you would have problems with subsequent pregnancies, its so rare now, i would not even worry about it. Your body will do what it is meant to do, so if you are planning on going through this pregnancy, take good care of your body, and it will take good care of your baby.
Did you have a medical abortion or surgical abortion? A surgical abortion can cause damage to the lining of your uterus making miscarriage more likely. A medical abortion shouldnt really increase your chances any.
EDIT- If you had the one where you take pills then that is a medical abortion. All those pills do is deliver a very high dose of hormones that cause you to abort. These hormones dont stay in your system. You should be fine. Congrats and good luck :)
A miscarriage is the place the being pregnant ends interior the loss of existence of the fetus before the toddler is conceivable - frequently 24 weeks gestation and is the two spontaneously ejected by the physique or must be bumped off surgically. the different term for that is 'spontaneous abortion' 'Abortion' is the term used while the mum comes to a decision to end the being pregnant for scientific or own reasons and the toddler's existence is then terminated by medicine and the contents of the uterus bumped off surgically or, if early on, spontaneous evacuation of the uterus by artifically brought on contractions.
Yes, to my understanding a previous abortion will make you more likely to miscarry, in rare cases it can leave a woman unable to carry or infertile altogether, despite what the 'pro-abortion' literature likes to tell us. However, you have concieved, and it has obviously implanted which is a great start. If you've made it this far you will probably have a beautiful healthy baby. Yes there is a higher risk of miscarriage, but there is also a higher risk of miscarriage among older women, women who have taken the pill recently, and all sorts of other groups, it dosen't mean it will happen.
i also had an abortion and doctors told me i may miscarriage next time i feel pregnant. I feel pregnant about two years after my abortion and had a very happy baby. I think it doctors way to scare us
