OK, so I was in a pageant at my school last year and I won. The girl who got second place is a die hard pageant girl. I'm doing the same pageant this year but they've changed it. They've added talent. I'm kinda nervous. This girl I'm competing against like I said has been in many pageants before and she is a AMAZING singer. I'm very good at the saxophone. I was thinking about playing the first minute and a half of "Careless Whisper". I have heard that only singers win. Is that true? Can I still win playing my saxophone.?

You still have a high chance of winning. You have a unique talent. She may have done lots of pageants but she also may not be what the judges are looking for. Judges and Pageant systems all judge differently.
It seems to be easier to impress judges with singing than sax, so you will really have to do an outstanding performance.
