Hello! I will be auditioning for the role of Rosie in Bye Bye birdie in a few weeks and am looking for an audition song. The director is someone I've worked with many times and she is familiar with my singing abilities.

I have a relatively wide range and can sing anything from alto range to some soprano stuff, but I prefer the belty alto/mezzo range songs. For this audition I'm looking for a song that is uptempo and includes some very low notes because Rosie has to be able to sing quite low in the show. If possible I would like for the song to allow me to show the character of Rosie a little, but that is not that important to me. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, unless of course they're stupid ones like songs from Wicked, Les Mis, or any other cliche show that everyone else will be singing from.
