It would be at a beach house right on the beach.
It will be in the mid 60's according to Weather.com
I personaly LOVE this weather but what can I do to make guests more comfortable?
I am thinking of renting a canopy and putting some heaters around.
Also people can go in the beach house if it gets too chilly.
There is also a fire pit but is a bonfire a good idea when people are in their fancy clothes?
Advice?
Opinions please?

The mid 60's is not that cold. You should have your wedding when and where you want it. If most guests are from your area, they will know the weather and perhaps bring a jacket. What an odd thought? I personally like the bonfire idea, but will that ruin the integrity of your service? I would guess that most folks will end up in the cottage after the ceremony anyway, so I would plan on that. Best of Luck and have fun.
I think the fire pits are great but the heaters may look tacky. And depending on what type noisy and smelly. If people are unfamilar with the weather in San Deigo maybe address this in the invitations such as saying "the average temp in San Diego is 65 degrees" this way what they choose to wear will fit the climate.
Are you kidding? A fire pit for guests that are in fancy clothes.???? I think renting a canopy and heaters inside are the worst thing for fire safety I have ever heard. Why dont you grow up before you think of giving in to such a silly whim. Have your wedding at home and the reception in the basement, it is more intelligent that anything you have come up with so far. PS you do not have to send me an invitation.
Do it in the summer. The drought in CA could end this winter and you would be washed out to sea. The temperature will be in the low 60' or high 50's at best if the sun is not out and it gets darker earlier. And while the ocean is beautiful, oh those chilly winds do blow. Get married at a great hotel in La Jolla.
If you are getting married, I suggest making a weather page on weather.com/weddings. It's so much fun...you can track the weather down to your big day. Also there's a sunset calculator to find out what time it will set on your wedding day and other great tips for weddings.
Congratulations and good luck!
This sounds miserable. I wouldn't want to attend. Cold, windy, humid = bad hair day!
I think its your big day and if they dont like it they can dress warmer or not attend.....maybe a few drinks will warm them up!
If you have choice then reconsider. Wedding is something special. So don't ruin it.
