If I were to buy a pre-built system (which I wouldn't, I build them), as far as quality of product, customer support and service, I would choose either HP/Compaq or Dell. It's best to purchase online, you'll have upgrade options that aren't available to store bought systems. For gaming you'll want to add a discrete graphics card...integrated graphics offer poor performance in games and never select the lowest grade or cheapest card offered. In most cases the cheapest card is a very basic, entry level card that is better suited for use as an HTPC (watching TV and movies) rather than gaming.
For the processor, a dual core will suffice but a quad core would be better, basically the fastest and most powerful you can afford.
Memory, a minimum of 4GB, preferably DDR3.
Graphics memory, that's memory on the graphics card. If you don't use a graphics card, the integrated graphics will share system memory. If you use a high resolution monitor or TV, choose a graphics card with 1GB of memory. As with the processor, you'll want to get the most powerful graphics card that you can afford.
Go to Dell website. Get the number and call. They will assist you by asking what you your main purposes are for the PC and tell you what is best. Also, they have a payment plan, if you qualify and you can just make monthly payments. They also have the best support!
Get an Intel Mac, yes they are expensive but you will have the best of both worlds. And you wont have to worry about the low end bull **** hardware the PC manufacturers put in their computers.
In my opinion in purchasing a desktop it is to buy the desktop in a assembled manner i mean it is better to take it with different brands because every brand has it's own specification in different parts so it will be much better and useful in purchasing a desktop in a assembled manner.
you should go for dell. it is one of the companies that allow u to upgrade your desktop or laptop very easily . also because you want it for gaming and movies you should go for a laptop with i5 processor. you will easily get a 3gb ram ,n vedia graphic card and 500 gb memory for a amount of 60k. you can also go for a cheaper one and can upgrade it later.if you want gaming then go for a laptop rather than a desktop.
anything but an ACER
they suck and you need to update the memory every other month
im serious
they are really slow
and full of problems
Dell is good
or HP is good too
I prefer ASUS Computers, they...well all of mine have ran perfectly smoothly and efficiently...GREAT computers, Terrible Tech support so be prepared to fix stuff yourself and im sure i have already and answered your question before.....
