Dark brown/reddish discharge 7 weeks postpartum?
my son is now 7 weeks and im having dark brown reddish discharge. Almost like mucus, like stringy sometimes with tiny clots. My lochia was gone at my 6 week check up, so my midwife said. 2 days after my 6 week check up the discharge started. Part of the day its light and then other parts its heavier. But not like a period just enough to fill a panty liner. Is it the lochia again? Maybe my period or an infection?

It could be a period. My first postpartum period was very light and only lasted 2 days. Also, it is very common for women to have brownish discharge right before their period begins, and this is not just a postpartum thing. The discharge is just old blood from the previous period. As long as it doesn't have a strong odour you are probably just having a light period or some pre-period discharge.
After we have babies our bodies especially our vagina does stupid things but i wouldn't say it is an infection unless it smells also go see your self a doc to save u the worry
