I'll start out by saying I am 19 years old about 5'3''.. 125 pounds. I work at a preschool... Which could be why I had a sinus infection and got a Z-Pack. I am supposed to take Day 4 tonight but I am definitely not. I have had diarrhea and moderate stomach pains, nausea for 4 hours now. About an hour ago I also threw up my lunch from earlier. Everything is closed now and my mom refuses to take me to the emergency room because she thinks it's just the flu, but I had the shot. I am worried that it is a reaction to the Z-Pack. I have been on it before with no problems but for some reason it's giving me problems now. I will add that I am also on Yaz and 75 mg. Zoloft Daily. I also take Biotin. And since I am throwing up I am not sure what to do about all my meds. I take them at night before bed and I don't want to take them and just throw them up? I am definitely not taking the Z-Pack though.
Update:by the way my diarrea is completely liquified now

for now you need to drink, Sip As this will be easier on your stomach, lots of fluids water, Gatorade to keep yourself from getting dehydrated. Don't worry about taking your medicine tonight. It's not going to hurt you to skip a day. It's possible that you are having a reaction to the Z Pack. Don't take the medication tonight. if you don't feel better tomorrow call your doctor. You may not need to go in.
The medication cannot possibly cause you to have the problems you describe. You appear to have the stomach flu. I don't blame your Mom for not wanting to spend most of the night at the hospital only to be told to go home, you have the flu.
