Foreign Languages in High School?
I'm a sophomore in high school,in ESL programme.
I'm supposed to take 3 years for a foreign language,but i still stuck in this prog.
My Question is:
-If I did not take foregin language in high school,can i be accepted in college?
I do speak another languages (Arabic) and some German, and my English is not horrible.
need ur opinions!
Update:I'm in South Carolina
I do have years of education in Arabic (about 8 years) ! & 2.5 years of German.

it depends in which state.
now if you had 9 years of education in a language other than engish then you SHOULD be ok
otherwise you should see if you can take a language (either in or outside your school)
Choosing a foreign lang. is definitely suggested! It can help you with tests and careers too! You'll have more chances than some others
well you dont need it for college but high school requires it to graduate.
