Alright guys, just yesterday I ran a 5:13 mile and in the meets before I ran 5:21 so a big chop down on time for the mile run and I was pretty pleased with myself. But I only have like one and a half days with an easy practice before our meet on Friday which is regionals! The thing is, I really wanna push for under that 5 minutes in that mile race. I also have another meet next week which is our last meet but I really wanna push for it Friday. Thoughts? Suggestions?

No one can actually answer that question except yourself. You just have to find out for yourself by just training. And to really help you more or less you have to tell me how much time have you've been running. If you've been running over a year your times won't improve dramatically but if you've been training about three months or less it is very posible to run a sub 5 minute mile. In my case when I started track a few month ago I stripped of a minute from my mile time. Hope I helped (and sorry for my grammatical errors, I'm Latin)
I wanted the same thing, and ACHIEVED it! hahah, what I recommend is getting a very big pair of testicles going all out on the track. You need balls to do it, and know it will hurt and cant give up, if you ae in reginols I know you are good so dont give up.
Run the splits: 68, 71, 69, 65, YOU WILL PR!
