The discharge is nothing to worry about, unless it starts to smell bad, in which case you should see a doctor in case you have an infection. It may be bacterial vaginosis or yeast infection, and if left untreated, it could lead to even more severe health issues. Don't be embarrassed about going to the doctor if anything is wrong, they will help out and vaginal infections are extremely common among women!! :-)
