I'm looking for a good laptop for Minecraft that's under $1000 with an Intel Core i5 processor or better, 4 GB or more of RAM, Windows 7, 300 GB Hard Drive or more and a good graphics card. Just something that can run Minecraft smoothly with no lag. I know that's more than needed for Minecraft, but I could be also doing some other stuff while playing Minecraft like hosting an online server.

The cpu is ok, bump up the ram to at least 6GB if not 8GB. 300GB is pretty small these days, try for a 500GB or 640GB. The gpu in the i5 should run decently. It won't turn heads like a dedicated gpu.
Here is a couple of laptops I found for you that would run great and is in your budget:

While not the highest end laptops a quick search and I came up with this. Use amazon's laptop searcher to narrow down everything. Hosting an online server can start using ram as well as playing the game all at the same time. Hope this helps and get you started in the right direction. Heck the HP one mentioned is a really good one too. It may be pushing your budget but your won't regret it later, specially considering the ATI 6770 gpu in it.
in case you ask if a undeniable pc has a committed video card (at the same time with Radeon or Nvidia) and it does, it fairly is in all likelihood stable to run maximum video games at extremely intense settings. Battlefield 3 takes a great style of skill, nevertheless, so i'm uncertain that on my own might cover it. you're able to could carry out a little looking and decide what pics enjoying cards can cope with the main. stable success!
I would recommend more high-end hardware. Everything counts in this - the video card, the processor, a larger capacity, faster hard disk or solid state drive is recommended if you don't like wait times for the application to load, and the system memory capacity and speed
You've pretty much answered that yourself; any laptop will do. I recommend Lenovo or Toshiba, but only if you buy a "small business" laptop. Those types last longer than tacky consumer grade laptops.
