According to the research regarding the approval of gardasil, 2 shots provides a good level of protection. It's much better to finish the complete series though, so you should go in and get your final shot.
BTW, to the other know nothing responder, Gardasil contains 4 strains of HPV antigens. Two are the most common causes of genital warts, and two are the most common causes of cervical cancer. Get your facts straight.
Its best to get all three shots for the best protection. I have warts but I get it to help prevent cervical cancer. It doesnt protect against the strain I already have since I have it but it protects against a couple other strains that cause warts and cervical cancer. Just go back as soon as you can to get the last shot. I go in december to get my last shot.
Id say you have to finish the whole series because that's how it was meant to work...and FYI it doesn't protect against all warts... Considering 2 of my friends who had the shots still got them. I'd say, just don't think you're in the clear and be safe about it...
