I always have dessert after dinner... every night?
I want to stop eating dessert every night because I know it's really unhealthy. My desserts are usually cake, cookies, chocolate, ice cream stuff like that. How can I stop always having dessert?
Don't - there is no harm in rounding your dinner off with 'dessert', just be a bit more conscious of your choices-
1. ask yourself if you’re really hungry, or you are eating out of habit.
2. Healthy changes E.g - Ice Scream - limit that to one scoop of ice cream and accompany it with fruit salad - contributes towards your five a day, etc
As long as your diet is balanced and you're getting exercise there is nothing wrong in eating dessert. Focus on eating more of the right stuff rather than less of the bad stuff.
I agree with the other people, don't stop eating dessert. Just eat it once a day, not for both lunch and dinner. If you snack, make the snacks healthier if you plan on eating a bigger dessert.
Opt for just some healthier ones a few times a week. For things like ice cream, maybe try slow-churned, frozen yogurt, or lower-fat. Skinny Cow makes a lot of cones, sandwiches, etc that taste good and are better than things like Nestle drumsticks.
Cookies- if you like packaged ones, then go for reduced fat. They don't kill the flavor like fat-free sometimes does. If you like homemade though, maybe just eat 2 instead of 3 or 4. Or, make them smaller and still eat 2.
Rice krispies are always another option. They are pretty healthy because it's mostly cereal and marshmallows (they do have butter too).
Another option for your sweet tooth is pudding. Jell-O makes many different kinds from 100 calorie to sugar-free. The sugar-free ones taste great and are only 60 calories. The chocolate vanilla swirls and dulce de leche are personal favorites of mine that I bring in my lunch weekly.
If you like fruit, you can also make fruity desserts. Parfaits are good and healthy, with low-fat or fat-free yogurt, fresh or frozen fruit, and granola on top.
Nah I'm the same age and eat a lot of sweets and junkfood ****! Just as long as u exercise regularly and remember to stay fit it will be fine. If u really think ure gonna get fat then just lay back a bit and try to avoid the temptation. I don't actually even think that u eat that much compared to me; I eat 3 weetbix and toast in the morning with a chocolate bar and fruit for a snack, I get a hamburger and chips or something from the canteen for lunch and then I usually have a donut and chips and a Chocolate iceblock when I get home from school before eating dinner! And I have other snacks throughout the day, so compared to u I'm a massive fatty!!!!! Don't be worried u don't eat that much

i wouldn't stop having desert just find healthy alternatives, stopping cold turkey could lead you to bing eat. Try www.tlc.com/cookyourselfthin
there are alternatives on there to regular foods cooked healthier.
instead of cookies and chocolate you should go shopping and get some of your favorite fruits and make a fruit tart or a fruit salad.
maybe try something healthier so you can still have your desert and stay healthy.
dont buy them
