He does believe that humans caused global warming and Rush Limbaugh responded by saying that he wasn't a real republican. Plus I heard Romney Care was similar to Obama Care. So, he does seem to acknowledge some liberal beliefs and some conservative ones. Besides if he agrees to tax the rich, cut military spending, end government subsidies to oil companies and others who don't need it, and regulate the economy then he would be a very good president. Also, since most Republicans get money from the rich, they pass laws helping the rich and corporations but I heard Romney had plenty of his own money, so he might not be bribed by the rich and he can stand up to them.
In my opinion Eisenhower was the 2nd greatest president of the US. If Romney was similar to him then Libs and Cons may actually agree a lot more and maybe we can get out of this financial crisis and make this country better. After all, look how great the US was during Eisenhower's time.
Also, I am a liberal and if Romney was like Eisenhower I would honestly vote for him. But, I am still unsure if he is similar to him.
Update:Is he at least a moderate republican?

Romney has recanted his views of global warming and said nothing should be done now because of the economy. We don't know what kind of type Romney is. He talks about Obama more than what his plans for the economy and helping Americans. He is not really a moderate or conservative Republican and I think he wants to be seen as a sort of Democrat really who is better than Obama. He needs to be for something anything and not change his position the next hour.
Eisenhower was asked by both parties to run. He really was not affiliated by either but chose to run as a republican. If you would find his farewell speech, you might interpret it as that he might have made a mistake. By today's standards, Eisenhower was a flaming liberal as he sponsored things like the interstate highway system and FHA, etc.
Now today's republicans are not the same as yesterdays republicans, not even yesterday's conservative republicans. Ronald Reagan, the republican patron saint, would not be accepted into the republican party today as being too liberal. I would put Romney near the political center, remember most of the voters are in favor of some kind of government healthcare. I would be fearful of what Romney would have to do to placate the RNC and the tea party but Romney is the only one that has a snowballs chance in competing with Obama. The problem with Romney is that the tea party is dead set against him and the upper levels of the RNC are against him also. Another important question is who would be his running mate. z
Hee, hee, hee...no.
Eisenhower was a key international player during the most tumultuous time in world history and the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe that whooped Hitler's western forces.
Romney was Governor of Massachusetts and did a nice job with the Olympics.
Eisenhower was a poor boy, and Romney was a trust fund kid who inherited 200 million.
Eisenhower stuck to his guns... Romney has flip-flopped on every position he's ever held.
They don't have much in common.
Mitt Romney is more like a John McCain Republican: A longtime Liberal policy maker now passing himself off as a Conservative so he can win the Presidency.
Eisenhower was one of the greatest Americans, but I do not think Romney is like him. He likes to change his mind a lot. He is not a conservative, but today Eisenhower would not be either.
No ,way Romney is just another greasy politician , Eisenhower was an American Hero and I agree he was one of the greatest Presidents ever
I don't think it is a good comparison. But as a Conservative, I think of all the Republican Candidates currently in the running, Romney is the least Conservative.

There isn't any comparison. Times are different, problems are different and you have to make a decision based on who is on the ballot, what they stand for and what is their past record.
He's a RINO and can't be trusted which way he's gonna flip-flop.
Not really, I'm thinking "Mr Magoo"
