I was sitting home all day today and then suddenly my wrist started hurting whenever I lay my palm flat against something. I don't think there was something I did to hurt it, it just hurts. There are no swelling or brushing or sign of anything. I am a cheerleader and have practice and 3 hours and I hope it will be better by then. What can I do to make it stop hurting. It has been hurting for only a few minutes so far

have you been playing with your mouse ? for a long time ? could be just stiff place your wrist under cold running water if that feels good then put some ice on it and keep it there If cold water does not feel good try warm water place a warm heating pad on your wrist or alternate between hot and cold if you can pick up something then chances are it is not broken
If it was broken, the pain would have started at the time of impact, not some random time after. It would also be swollen, so theres no way you broke it. It's possible it could be a strain though, if you're in a lot of pain, go to the doctor. If not, still talk to your coach so you don't put more stress on it.
