Here is my situation exactly:
I'm a shy, introverted person. I work best by myself, that is to say, I do my best work when I'm alone. I recently took up a theatre class and we have to gather in groups as part of the collaborative process that is required for theatre. I don't like this! This drained my emotions and my energy and distracted me from other business. No I don't have ADD. However, since I was to be taken 9 credit hours this winter I feel it will be impossible for me to do the extra work. This is due to the group activity in theatre, the interaction, and so on and so forth. No! No! No! I just don't have the strength to do speech now. I would have been fine to do speech had we not gathered in groups in theatre.
So, I ask. If I decide to stay in speech. Will I get gang humilated and laughed it like they do me in theatre?
Come on guys, i feel like "Carry" out there on the floor. What's the big deal?

The movie is "Carrie".
To your question - Watch the finest orators - They read up in a subject, prepare their notes, and just discuss their findings out loud.
I guarantee that you will not be the only person with any anxieties. If some jerk makes snide comments, you are perfectly okay to say out loud "Do you have any other snotty comments you want to share with us?"
