Flirt? Not me. I was very very self conscious. If I had a major emotion from young it was embarrassment. Could I have blushed, I would have been red head to toe except when sleeping. I may have seemed
to flirt ? I smiled and spoke to about everyone in the hallway, because I liked people, but I was not flirting. I remember actually laughing only twice on hs grounds,or in the building. There was one young lady I laughed with in elementary. We seemed to joke a lot. I laughed once off hs grounds in town, that was a disaster.
You said vampy, that reminds me of the fad of eyeliner which was so
"in" in the late 60's. Seemed like everyone wore it. I wore it. Not a really heavy thick line, but it was eyeliner. I went to work in an office and could not figure out why they did not like my makeup. I was not the only one who wore makeup by far, nor eyeliner, but the problem for me,
I think, was the eyeliner. I wore it due to feeling my face was so bland.I did quit wearing it.
With my naturally light blond hair, I may have looked a little....too made up. Not sure it helped.
Do you mean Darla Jean Hood? She was a little vixen. I went to visit her burial place in Hollywood along with many others. She was in the mausoleum with Norma Talmade and Valentino.
