Notice the steady flow of alleged students claiming they need statistics and questionnaires from seniors for their classes? Preferably, interviews and life stories?
Boy!! Schools have sure changed. If that is what they are studying, along with their calculators and internets doing their homework, no wonder they are dumbing down this nation.

I have no idea, and if teachers are really making those assignments, I doubt that they intended that their students conduct interviews online. Wouldn't the point be to have their students do face-to-face interviews?
I hope nobody here is providing personal information to the students who claim they need to do interviews. They could be up to some sort of mischief.
Although statistics were not included, my grandchildren were required to interview one of their grandparents in their junior year. I answered questions from my oldest grandson and youngest granddaughter. I enjoyed the questions and I think it gave them some insight to what life was like when I was younger.
Perhaps some of these students don't have anyone to ask or else they just decide to use the computer and this category to do their work.
I remember how interested I was in my grandparents history. The schools here must be doing something right, at least for my family. The girls both obtained very good college scholarships and we are waiting to see if the oldest boy receives one.
Yep I was wondering just about the same thing when I read the post by the kid who wanted us to grade his essay. If I would have answered it I would have given him a low C, but I didn't want to hurt his feelings. If we say what we really think we'll either get deleted or they'll say we're a bunch of crabby old people.
Schools are now offering degrees in Gerontology because they realize that soon there will be a ton of us older baby boomers out there and this will create jobs working with and for seniors and producing items for their use.
i do no longer in uncomplicated terms like the belief of faculties coaching any variety of morals to little ones, to me a school ought to be a place to assemble academic wisdom and households ought to be those coaching very own values. yet i think that the ladies would be raised the comparable way, whether via the mummy and dad themselves or via the college the mummy and dad elect to deliver them to. i do no longer see how "better halves and mothers" equates to "2nd class voters" in spite of the undeniable fact that...the region of a spouse and mom is a great deal important in society and in uncomplicated terms in our modern-day way of life is it undervalued. some people have self assurance that elevating little ones is the perfect and maximum useful interest, and it suits a great variety of ladies individuals. There are worse issues mom and dad are elevating their little ones to be. **somebody else made a powerful factor too, Catholic faculties do continuously look suitable of the league tables.
I've been interviewed some time ago for senior studies.
I urged my granddaughter to come to seniors and ask questions to get other seniors point of view.
Big mistake!
The little trolls are bored.I suggest the parents give these brats a good backhand in the mouth when they catch these "darlings" on this section.
I think it's great. Our high school offers seniors courses in computers and photography, among other things. I don't think it's dumbing down.... it's helping to keep Alzheimer's at bay!
Also why can't they use the computer for their info instead of asking us?
Just tell them to google it..that what I see all over on this website..=)
Those questions are SO bogus. I wish people wouldn't answer them.
