How come I get A's in Spanish but d's in English and English and french are my first language. I don't understand why it's so hard. I've been learning 4 languages at a time and sometime I mix up and mess up my English but I still don't understand why I do better in another language than English .. Especially with verbs like sneak >sneaked dream>dreamt or dreamed? Idk is it normal to find your native language hard ?

Hi, Frenchied'or
I believe that English is harder because it has less rules.
Pronunciation is unique to each word.
There are more exceptions to the rules than rules in their own right.
I don't mean to say that there are no rules, but way less than in the latin languages.
Harder to find a pattern, hence, harder to learn by the book.

One reason Spanish may be easier for you, because unlike French and English, it's phonetic and the grammar is simpler. With time you will be up to snuff with all three languages.

NATIVE SPANISH SPEAKER
They have a different standard for grading you if lanaguage X is not your native language take it from me i've been to 5 different schools in different countrird and they graded me differently for the same answers (in lanaguge of course)
its ok to find your native had, but sometimes the way the words change throughout each language can slip you up.
