Hi, I know this is probably the wrong place to be asking this but, I have started playing Minecraft at 1.2.5, I played for months before 1.3 came out, once it did I noticed that single player had TARIBAL performance issues. I have a amazing gaming machine, I figured that it would be fixed by now (1.5.1) but it is still there
Its Driving me crazy! when im mining the block has a 1/10 of a second delay before it actually starts mining it, gravel is really choppy and buggy, xp gets stuck on invisible stuff mobs are very laggy like when there running or falling or just walking, I'll just see them walk, stop, walk, stop, and this game seems to run better in multi player. it is driving me CRAZY, I installed opt fine but that didn't work SOMEONE PLEAS HELP ME

Update:hay, theguynumber4, I can play battlefield 3 on ultra setting w/ V-sync on maintaining 82- FPS as an AVERAGE, so I think I can handle Minecraft.

If you had an amazing gaming machine most of that would not happen. And 1.5.1 should fix ALL of that. You don't have an amazing gaming machine. The only real problem between 1.3 and 1.5 was the transparent clouds issue which was fixed.
