I'm throwing a bridal shower for a friend who doesn't like fruit-flavored things. She does like lemon. I want to make some punch, but I'm not sure how… Does anyone know a good lemon punch recipe? (Is there such a thing?) Or do you have any other non-fruit ideas for punch? Thanks so much!!

get a gallon or so of hawaiian punch, and mix liberally with 7-up. Add a fruit punch ring that you can find at the grocery store. I like to add a little lime and lemon juice, but that's not necessary. Also, sometimes people use whipped cream, or topping or whatever, to make it frothy. I just think that's gross.
some Hawaiian punch
some sprite
lemon slices
lime slices
sqeese a few lemons and limes and add that
you can also make them better by adding shaved ice and using the lemon and lime slices on top
you can make a non alcoholic lemon breeze.
fill a large pitcher with crushed ice.
Pour lemonade mix in the glass until it is 1/3 full. You can substitute plain lemonade if you like, but the flavor will not be as rich.
Add the pineapple mix to fill the glass to the 2/3 mark. This ingredient is frequently swapped out in exchange for a clear soda.
Top off the non-alcoholic Lemon Breeze with cranberry mix. A possible stand in for the cranberry mix is pink lemonade, which creates a non-alcoholic Pink Lemon Breeze.
Put a cherry on top, or garnish the top with a lemon wedge. Drink as many as you want.

Lemon Punch
1.00 c Sugar
1.00 c Water
-
Mint leaves or mint extract
Hot Sugar Syrup (from
Above)
4.00 c Lemon juice
3.00 c Water [or sparkling water -
Seltzer]
HOT SUGAR SYRUP-----
LEMONADE-----
Directions:
Here goes. For every four cups of juice, add one cup of sugar syrup. [this is from memory folks, bear with] I think that should be one cup sugar to one cup water, stirred until the sugar dissolves, and boiled for five minutes. Then, use three parts water [or sparkling water - seltzer] for every one part juice+syrup. I don't know your serving sizes, so I can't get more specific, but it should be served over ice. My recipe calls for mint leaves in the bowl when you mix the hot syrup and the juice, but I've used mint extract before, and it works all right.[if necessary] Ruth M. Hanschka 6/25/95 Hot Sugar Syrup: Stir sugar and water until sugar dissolves then boil for 5 minutes. Lemonade: Place mint leaves in punch bowl. Pour hot sugar syrup and lemon juice into bowl. Add water or sparkling water. Stir to mix. Serve over ice.
