i may be 15 but i know whats going on in the world so heres what i think: i think you and all other non believers should take advice from the Jonas Brothers- "where would we be if we couldnt dream". they are right, where would we be if we couldnt dream because when you dream you can achieve. i was thinking earlier before the speech that the world needs changing. we need to stop depending on foriegn oil and other items not made in the US because China and other countries are stealing our jobs causing Americans to go broke. if there is another republican this country will most definately go into another depression. a republican caused the first depression and it took democrat FDR to save America and he ended up being elected for 4 terms. i believe in Obama. He is just what America needs. we need change. we need someone who will make this the greatest country in the world again. i was getting all teary eyed during his speech because my grandparents and greatgrandparents went through practically everything that he said his family went through. Obama is down to earth and he gets the struggle everyday Americans are going through with the job and housing and economy crisis'. McCain said that his staff would have to get back to the reporter when the reporter asked how many homes he owns. even if that was just a senior moment, we cant have someone in charge of this country if they have senior moments. 45 years ago today history was made. i was not alive to see that history but i was alive and watching the history that took place today with a black presidential nominee and i couldnt be prouder to be an American. even if you dont support Obama or think that he could accomplish all his promises, you still have to admit that you are proud to be alive and part of this country today, a day that will go down in history.
its time for change and Obama will make the neccessary changes to this country to make it the greatest country in the world again. just like FDR did years ago.
Nothing new, all are the same promises no one can keep, and in his case, I am most thankful.
The country cannot afford one penny more in added entitlements, and don't hand me that crap about the 'cost of the war; it doesn't wash... war is an economic boom more than a cost... WWII was the ONLY thing that pulled the entire world out of the worst depression in history.
Since he never gives details, and says hes supposedly going to cut taxes while spending tons of money on new programs, i have the feeling that he is full of spit, its all just rhetoric
That's my question too ! His speech was great. we'll have to wait and see how he's going to do all what he talked about.. We should know more by debates when his opponent starts asking him how he's going to do it......bd
Obama did a great job with the speech. He was VERY specific in laying out his positions. Neocons have been crying for WEEKS that he wasn't specific enough... what will they say now?
Absolutely remarkable. We are witness to greatness, and the best part is that greatness is us, not Obama. He is the next in a tradition of America's finest leaders. I truly believe this.

That would be a big fat zero. He just likes to hear himself talk. He has no subnstance, and he has no soul.

Probably not. But if he does get elected because of the speech full of promises, the America is really dumber than I would ever think.

I don't think so. He promised everything to everybody.
I would go for "none at all".
