So i'm seventeen and i do a lot of jumping in terms of equestrian. And I wear these black briefs and pull up breeches. Anyway, I like my breeches tight, but that combined with the panties means panty lines. I've tried thongs, but I hate them. Anyway, I'm wondering if wearing pantyhoes under my breeches would help with the embarrassing and humiliating VPL?

It probably will help you. And when your breeches are tight they will slide on easier over the pantyhose and so will fit better and more comfortably. And it also helps against chafing. You should definitely try it. And if you don't like it you can always take them of again, so you have nothing to loose there.
I heard William Shatner ( and I know EVERYONE wants to be like William Shatner! LOL), who is an accomplished and enthusiastic rider, wears them whenever he rides due to the fact it helps with chafing.
Give it a try on a practice run and see what you think. No one else can really answer this for you. If you don't like them, take them off.
they would help plus your breeches would slide on better
My guess is that would be incredibly hot and uncomfortable.
Have you considered something like these instead? (More for illustrative purposes that I'm posting this link)
