Right now XBOX 360 does. A few years down the line, and that's being nice, the PS3 will. When developers can utilize the Cell processor and get around the almost non existent RAM and weak GPU games will look great. Until then XBOX 360 will keep the slight edge over the PS3.
The PS3 uses a blu-ray player, currently the highest definition source for a tv. The 360 uses a hd-dvd drive, which is now discontinued including any disc content for it other than games.
Aswell as this the PS3 also features an extremely fast processor which means it finds it easy to read even the most difficult content giving a flawless image.
K, there are different ways of looking at this. When it comes to hardware specs the PS3 is a better system but lacks the smooth edges. Xbox 360 uses a type of HDR. If you notice the picture on the xbox glows a bit more but you don't have the rough edges. When it comes to eye candy I think the xbox is better.

In non-dorky terms, the PS3 has better graphics.
