Hey,
My sister has been nagging my mum for a rodent(for a pet) and my mum has agrees to it. She has already got 2 rabbits and a hamster but my mum only agreed to it as she takes excellent care of them!
So, to the point, she doesn't know which one to get as she wants a couple of rats or guinea pigs or whatever is friendly she says!
By the way she is 11 years old(nearly 12)x

rabbits and guineas are both great pets.
rats are friendlier and more interactive.
Rats and guinea pigs are much friendlier than any other common rodent not listed. Between the two, rats are a lot more interactive and bond closer to you. Guinea pigs are rather similar to rabbits, and since she already has a couple, why not try a different type of animal like rats.
1. Hamsters are relatively easy to deal with and are low cost. They just must have their cage clean as soon as every week! They just desire a comfy cage, a wheel, water bottle, meals dish, food, etc. 2. Gerbils are relatively exquisite pets! They are so fun to watch c: They do require a buddy so be definite to get two or extra gerbils! 3. Mice are cool pets but I heard the males stink if their cage isn't cleaned out customarily. Four. Rats are obviously considered one of my favourite rodents! They are so pleasant, hardly ever chew, and are just powerful. I would really like to get a pair of rats but that's out of the query until I transfer out of my mothers and fathers condo. :/ I most likely say RATS! 5. Dwarf hamsters are so lovely and small c: men and women say they are evil but with quite a lot of handling time, they are able to be very tamed! 6. I don't quite recognize so much about degus apart that they want a gigantic cage and are social. I wanted degus at some factor of my lifestyles. 7. I like Chinchillas! They're so fluffy and that i want I could get one however they are a ways to highly-priced. I say both a Chinchilla or Rats c: excellent luck! P.S- have you ever regarded guinea pigs? They are powerful c: haven't any tails and i am definite your mother would think they're lovely..
guinea-pigs make great pets, like rabbits, but very vocal! personally, i love them and think that they are one of the best rodents you can get!
I also think that rats are a great choice aswell, they are much more interactive and they are very inteligent
those are the rodents i would go for.
why not go and have a look around to see what ones she takes to the most.
hope that helps :-)
Both of them are great pets, but I find rats are friendlier (In my experience) and more interactive. It really depends on what she's looking for in a pet, does she want something that she can hold and pet for long periods of time? Then she might want a guinea pig. Or does she want something that she can interact with? Then she should consider a rat.
Diffidently a rat.
They are very tame like dogs and are easy to take care of.
My family has raised 7 rats and we can't wait to get more, they are very smart and can learn tricks. I've taught all of our rats to climb up and down stairs. They are very social and I suggest getting maybe 2 females or 1 male.
Get rats! I have had rats and I still do! I love the things! But guinea pigs are cool pets too. They can be trained but I found that rats are easier to train. Love my bugg-a-boos :)
I would defiantly get rats they are very friendly and smart and can be taught to do an assortment of tricks they are also very loyal and curious
