I dont know what yall are talking about cause my gf has a Mustang GT 45th anniversary and the other day I blew a brand new Camaro out of the water. I was runnin 110 in 3rd and he was runnin 105 in 4th, in about an 1/8 mile i had about 6 car lengths on him.
Hmmm you might not like my answer but its the best thing u should do. Wait till next years and get the 2011 mustang because they are gonna drop a 5.0L in it and have 400hp just think the camaro ss with its 422hp can barely beat the mustang that has 315hp now think with 85 more hp what its gonna do to the camaro just smoke it....
The only mustang that beats the the Camaro down the straight is the Shelby, and they need forced induction for that, and around the track it's the Track Pack GT. I've personally had too many heartaches with Ford so I stay away.
And Johnny Rotten, you should go post somewhere that you'd be useful, obviously we don't give a rats *** about your 2door underpowered 300.
2010 Camaro for sure, look at all reviews the camaro is always wining and better, even mustang owners have admitted it, now look at the new mustang front end and hood, it tries to resemble a camaro lol, but yea drive both and then go to a corvette youll love it
Performance wise...it's a no brainer. The Camaro owns the Mustang. Hell the V6 is only a few ponies away from the GT. The only Mustang that's close is the GT with the track-pack from Ford. It handles but still gets demolished in the 1/4 mile.
EDIT: if u aint first-Um, the SS can barely beat the current GT? Have you been to the track? The SS consistently has a better ET and more importantly destroys the GT in trap speed(the REAL indicator of power). I'm not sure what planet you live on but the GT isn't anywhere near the SS in performance.
EDIT again: Jesse, you're so full of crap! You sure he was racing? 6 car lengths@105mph? Right....
That depends on the likes of the owner......Both good cars....Drive Chevrolet....But I do like the new Mustang....Look at both and then buy a Corvette.....

Camaro SS has a lot more advantage over the GT except for the pricing. The pricing should level out once the demand for the Camaro diminshes.
However, i rather spend an extra $5k and get a left over 2008/2009 Vette

Looks wise...well that's subjective.
